Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support School Nurses and Health Visitors with the delivery of health and wellbeing services for children and families. You’ll carry out delegated interventions, implementing evidence-based programmes of care, coordinating by priority of need and responding to individual health and care needs. Through effective health promotion, you will empower healthy lifestyles and contribute to positive outcomes through early support and prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver delegated clinical or therapeutic health interventions.

• Support children, families and schools with health needs.

• Promote effective multi-disciplinary team working with peers.

• Undertake assessments and monitoring within agreed scope

What We’re Looking For – Essential Skills/Experience

Proven experience in an education or healthcare role. You will have a good understanding of current evidence-based practice. Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with children, with an ability to demonstrate compassion and honesty. Relevant L5 qualification, Care Certificate and NNEB (or equivalent) qualification.

You’ll be part of Children, Families & Education services, contributing to community‑based child health provision.
